School Support Programs

Ogden’s cold winters can affect school attendance. We provide warm, no-logo hoodies for students at George Washington High School and for residents of Youth Futures Shelter.

In December we host “Hoodie Day.” In addition to choosing a hoodie, GWHS students choose books for themselves and books to give to their siblings.

In March George Washington High hosts a Career Day to help students envision possibilities for their future. Representatives from educational and occupational organizations are available to connect with students and present information. Free Community Meal provides dinner, to make it easier for families to attend this event.
